The Oakland County Democratic Party has selected a new chair for the 2021-2022 term. Jody LaMacchia, a 20-year Oxford resident and chair of the North Oakland County Democratic Party, has been elected to serve as chair of the party s executive committee for the next two years. LaMacchia recently ran for state representative in the 46th District, but lost in the general election to incumbent Republican John Reilly.
