The Oakland County Democratic Party has selected a new chair for the 2021-2022 term. 
Jody LaMacchia, a 20-year Oxford resident and chair of the North Oakland County Democratic Party, has been elected to serve as chair of the party s executive committee for the next two years. 
LaMacchia recently ran for state representative in the 46th District, but lost in the general election to incumbent Republican John Reilly. The 46th State House District includes Addison Township, Brandon Township, Lake Orion, Leonard, Oakland Township, Ortonville and Oxford.
