Dubai, May 7 : The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday announced that three ICC Men s T20 World Cup Sub Regional Europe Qualifiers pathway tournaments to the ICC Men s T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia have been cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Finland was set to host their first ICC event with the Sub Regional Europe A and B qualifiers starting next month. The ICC Men s T20 World Cup Sub Regional Europe B Qualifier was due to be hosted between June 30 and July 5 involving the hosts, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Guernsey, Hungary, Luxembourg and Sweden. The A qualifier was scheduled to start three days later with Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Israel, Italy, Malta, Norway, Spain all competing until July 13. ....

New Zealand have replaced reigning World champions England as the number one ranked side in the ODI rankings but England have consolidated their position at the top of the T20I table after the annual update carried out on Monday.
These updates eliminate results from 2017-18 and halve the weighting of matches played in 2019-20 which includes the 2019 World Cup.
New Zealand, who defeated Bangladesh 3-0 in their only ODI series during the past year, have advanced two slots in the MRF Tyres ICC Men’s ODI Team Rankings after gaining three rating points to reach an aggregate of 121. Australia are second with 118 points while India and England are both on 115, the former ahead on decimal points. ....
