Rogue MP's support growing despite PM reprimand


Prime Minister Scott Morrison s public rebuke of Liberal MP Craig Kelly for spruiking unproven COVID-19 treatments appears to have boosted the maverick MP s popularity and influence on social media.
The member for Hughes in Sydney s south was hauled into the PM s office this week for a 30-minute lecture on how he was undermining the Government s message on the COVID-19 vaccine.

NSW public sector jobs go bush


 
NSW public servants will be able to live and work anywhere in the state in a COVID-driven public sector overhaul designed to increase senior employment opportunities in the bush.
Tapping into a post-COVID world, where employees have proven they don t need to be tethered to a CBD desk to work, a suite of NSW public sector jobs will be advertised for employment in any location with others marked as regional location preferred .
The plan is a a deal struck by Deputy Premier John Barilaro and signed of by NSW cabinet in order to boost regional economies and job opportunities in the bush. ....

The families of missing people have been asked to volunteer their DNA at pop-up collection centres in a bid to solve hundreds of ­unidentified remains cases and suspected murders.
The collection drive is believed to be a world first for law enforcement and aimed at finally identifying 330 John and Jane Does - the nameless bodies and bones found all over NSW that date back to 1964.
The groundbreaking program is being rolled out in Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie in the northern region, which police likened to the Bermuda triangle due to the high number of people who vanish without a trace. ....
