Sheriff Darren Campbell stated: On Sunday, May 2, 2021, the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office was called to 2390 Old Wilkesboro Road in reference to a two year old child who was shot.
When the deputies arrived on scene, the located the victim and provided medical care until medical personal arrived. The child was treated at the scene, then taken to Brenner Children’s Hospital in Winston-Salem for additional treatment. ....
