KCR, as the Chief Minister is popularly known, said in his message that a vast majority of people are dependent on the agriculture based vocations and large percent of people are eking out a living by working in several factories and industries. Telangana Government To Provide Free Power Supply To Salons, Laundry Shops Apr 05, 2021, 15:13 IST Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Sunday announced that the government will be providing quality power supply up to 250 units per month free of cost to hairdressing salons, laundry shops and dhobi ghats in all districts of the State. Principal Secretary for Backward Classes Welfare Department on Sunday issued an order, giving relief to Nayee Brahmins (barbers) and Rajaka communities in the State, announcing free electricity supply effective April 1. CM Sri KCR has decided to provide free electricity, up to 250 units per month, to barber shops, laundry shops and dobhi ghats in all parts of the State. A decision to this effect was announced by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) on Sunday. It was taken after examining representations made by Rajaka and Nayee Brahmin communities here. KCR directed his office secretary Bhopal Reddy to issue an order immediately in this regard. As per the directions of the chief minister, principal secretary for BC welfare Burra Venkatesham issued a government order stating that this free power supply provision will come into effect from April 1. ....
