“The bags may be kept by the purchaser or donated to the Friends of Hudson’s Hope Food Bank,” says Budgell. “Once the Hudson’s Hope Food Bank’s shelves are full, the remaining food can be donated to kickstart the Pet Pantry Program.”
More information about the Pet Pantry program is coming soon, but it will give families in the North Peace Region a little help keeping pets healthy at home.
So far, the 52 bags sold amounts to $260 for the Hudson’s Hope animals.

CENTER TWP. – The Network of Hope Food Bank is holding a food distribution event from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Beaver Valley Mall parking lot outside the U-Haul entrance.
The group will give out 2,500 gallons of milk, fresh produce, meat and other items in pre-packaged boxes to all who show up, while supplies last. No registration is required.
The event is drive-through and all are asked to remain in their vehicles as they proceed through the line. It is being held in conjunction with the Allison Park Church in Butler.
