The St. Thomas AirFest is saluting front-line pandemic workers with a day of fly-overs next month.
Planes will take to the skies over the city April 10 in an event called “the AirFest Salute to All Essential Workers.”

“The idea was, let’s see how many planes we can muster up in a day that can fly over the city and give the community something to enjoy,” said Andrew Buttigieg, director of media and public relations for the air festival. “We wanted to give the community something to embrace and call their own this year.”
