I did not face this problem much; during my time, music directors had some freedom of doing their work according to their will. Today, that freedom is not there. The song gets canned after the music director works hard on it. Producers and labels demand certain types of songs, and they suggest singers too. Down with COVID themselves, the acclaimed musician s elder son Sanjeev and wife Vimla Rathod who were admitted in Seven Hills Hospital at that time, could not have even his last glimpse. But the ordeal was far from over for the Rathods; Sanjeev s condition subsequently deteriorated and he had to be put on oxygen support. Later, the family got him shifted to Wockhardt Hospital (Agripada). It is only now that Sanjeev is finally going home and has been discharged from Wockhardt. Talking to ETimes on his way back , a few minutes ago, Sanjeev said, I am still feeling quite weak and lungs will take time to heal completely, but finally I tested negative for COVID.
