Bride among 7 drowned in Noakhali trawler capsize 345 NOAKHALI, Dec 15, 2020 (BSS) – At least seven persons including a bride have died after a trawler carrying a wedding party capsized in the Meghna river in Noakhali’s Hatia. “Seven bodies of the bride and children were recovered and 20 to 25 wedding guests however swam ashore by local mechanized boats in the River Megha in Hatiya of the district today.” Tankir Ghat police in charge Humayun Kabir said The incident took place near Kearingchar area at around 1:30 when the trawler carrying around 45 bridal party left Shantirbazar Ghat in Hatiya for Daalchar of Meghna river but it could not be known immediately how many guest remained missing in this capsize. ....
