Conservative Police and Crime Commissioner candidate, Jonathon Seed PCC election fiasco should be a lesson It s important at the end of an exhausting election campaign to thank all those involved, the voters, election staff, Police, my wonderful campaign team and political opponents. I do all of that with one exception. That exception is Jonathan Seed and the Conservative Party. They have turned our Police and Crime Commissioner election into a farce and treated all involved including 206,000 voters with total contempt. Even worse, they have landed taxpayers with a £1.5m bill at a time when public money is scarce. At the end of an exhausting campaign any candidate, winner or loser looks forward to a little time to rest and recover. For me that time has already come and gone. ....
