In Libya, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar’s massive military campaign neared Tripoli, where his Libyan National Army readied for the battle of the century against the Government of National Accord. In Yemen, efforts to reach a political settlement had again failed and violence escalated sharply in early 2020, with fighting on several fronts. ....
The goodwill and cooperation generated by the Abraham Accords continue. Just last month, Israel and the UAE signed an agreement for the two countries to collaborate on healthcare and healthcare technology. But more than that, there have been public expressions of goodwill on holidays and condolences on other occasions.

Conference on electronic commerce opens SHARE SALALAH: The 5th International Conference on Electronic Commerce was opened at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Salalah on Sunday under the auspices of Dr Abdullah bin Mohammed al Saeedi, Minister of Legal Affairs. The two-day conference is organised by Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) Branch in the Governorate of Dhofar and the Middle East Centre for Consultancy and Studies under the theme “Cloud Computing and Future Prospects”.
