In Scarbrough, prices rose by 2.8 per cent in the year to September 2020, though some areas reported much higher rises than others. Across Yorkshire and The Humber, prices rose by 3.2 per cent.
The ONS also publishes house price figures by Middle Layer Super Output Areas (MSOAs) – small geographic areas containing an average of 7,200 people. These show 10 of the 14 MSOAs that make up Scarborough saw a rise in house prices over the same period.

The ONS also publishes house price figures by Middle Layer Super Output Areas (MSOAs) – small geographic areas containing an average of 7,200 people.
These are the eight neighbourhoods (MSOAs) that make up Central Bedfordshire that had a drop in house prices over the same period.
1. Houghton Regis North
The biggest price drop was in Houghton Regis North where the average price fell to £228,375, down by 16.4 per cent on the year to September 2019. Overall, 72 houses changed hands here between October 2019 and September 2020, a drop of 41 per cent.

2. Arlesey & Henlow
The second biggest price drop was in Arlesey & Henlow where the average price fell to £343,506, down by 8.5 per cent on the year to September 2019. Overall, 192 houses changed hands here between October 2019 and September 2020, a drop of three per cent. ....

The biggest price drop was in Queens Park where the average price fell to £246,229, down by 18.9 per cent on the year to September 2019. Overall, 48 houses changed hands here between October 2019 and September 2020, a drop of 37 per cent.

The second biggest price drop was in Harpur where the average price fell to £206,896, down by eight per cent on the year to September 2019. Overall, 70 houses changed hands here between October 2019 and September 2020, a drop of 44 per cent. ....
