Actress Lucy Hale is heading to London to solve a gruesome murder mystery in a TV adaptation of the novel Ragdoll.
The Pretty Little Liars star has been cast in her darkest role yet as Metropolitan Police Service new recruit DC Lake Edmunds, who is tasked with hunting down a serial killer alongside more experienced members of the police force.
The team is hunting a killer who has murdered and dismembered six people, sewing their body parts into the shape of one grotesque body - nicknamed the Ragdoll .
Assigned to the grisly case are DS Nathan Rose, who has recently been reinstated to the London Met, his best friend and boss DI Emily Baxter and the fresh-faced DC Lake. As the trio try to solve the murders, the killer begins sending more clues about his next victims - with Rose seemingly a target.

The new series, set to unfold over six episodes, is based on the novel Ragdoll by Daniel Cole.
However, the premise does sound somewhat similar to the now-classic horror movie from 2001 Jeepers Creepers, in which victims are also found sewn together in a horrific and gory pattern.

Lucy, for one, is no stranger to horror films herself, having notably starred in Scream 4 in 2011, Truth Or Dare in 2018, and last year‘s creepy take on Fantasy Island.
And speaking of Scream, the raven-haired star has recently been linked romantically to Skeet Ulrich, who got his start in the first Scream movie back in 1996.
A teaser for Demi Lovato s upcoming YouTube documentary series Dancing With The Devil dropped on Wednesday, and it gave an eye-opening glimpse at how close to death the pop star came when she overdosed on drugs in 2018.
Within hours of its release, a slew of fans, friends and celebrities had taken to her social media platforms to commend her for sharing such intimate details about her struggles and ultimate story of survival.
As those comments kept coming in, Lovato shared a heartfelt thank you on Instagram to all the people who have showered her with love and support.
