Following the rules of the Ontario Municipal Act, Councillor Lloyd Wells declared conflict of interest during South Dundas council meetings regarding rezoning of a commercial property he owns next to the McIntosh Inn in Morrisburg. However, after unsuccessful attempts at rezoning the property, South Dundas council members received a letter from a business-owner asking them to support either of the two proposals put forward by Lloyd Wells. ....

Article content Council for the Township of Bonfield voted Tuesday to not accept a pair of integrity commissioner reports involving Mayor Randy McLaren after an attempt to penalize him as a result of the investigations failed to pass. Members of council chose not to officially receive reports from integrity commissioner David King, detailing his investigations into alleged code of conduct and conflict of interest violations on the part of McLaren.
