Splash Cove Pool at Memorial Park will not open for 2021 season | News, Sports, Jobs

SUN-GAZETTE FILE PHOTO The City of Williamsport announced today in a news release that Splash Cove Pool at Memorial Park will not be open for the 2021 season. “The City’s Public Works Department works tirelessly each year to keep up with continued improvements and maintenance at Splash Cove. This includes scrubbing and repainting the entire pool surface, updating electrical, sealing the area between the plaster and skim gutters and updating all the safety markings. Even with these dedicated efforts, there are still more repairs to be addressed and completed including an ongoing leak that is costing the city taxpayers a considerable amount of money in water and chemicals. We look forward to making all of the necessary repairs in order for Splash Cove Pool at Memorial Park to be opened for the 2022 season,” said the news release.
