Hamad Port, Ruwais Port and Doha Port handled 176,439 tonnes of general cargo in June this year compared to May 2021, registering a significant rise of around 53 percent. These ports have also seen a healthy rise in cargo handling on year-on-year basis. “Cargo and container throughput at Mwani Qatar jumped 12 percent and 9 percent, respectively, in June 2021 compared to the same period last year.
