An ICMR study found that infusing blood plasma from a recovered patient showed no significant benefits on a patient’s eventual outcome. The decision was finally announced late Monday night, when infusion of convalescent plasma was removed as an “off-label” treatment option.

Shripad Naik | Photo Credit: ANI Panaji: Union AYUSH Minister Shripad Naik was on Wednesday discharged from Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), after undergoing treatment for over a month for injuries he sustained in a deadly accident. Naik was admitted to the GMCH on January 12 after he met with an accident, in which his wife and an aide were killed. The minister is fit for discharge and can continue taking treatment from home, GMCH dean Dr Shivanand Bandekar.

We will follow the Supreme Court s judgment as far as the inter-state river dispute is concerned. We work for national interest and Goa and Karnataka are like two eyes.
