CANAL FULTON A group of residents at Chapel Hill Community is turning plastic shopping bags into sleeping mats for the homeless.
In September, residents of the independent living community Kroft Commons began meeting to construct the mats.

Ditzler said she caught on pretty quickly without any experience crocheting.
