Bridgewater: Dresses to be made into children's burial 'Angel Gowns'

BRIDGEWATER Hundreds of wedding and special occasion dresses that sat in storage will find a new life as angel burial gowns crafted for babies and children who died early.
Pat Marsters, of Pembroke, has a group of volunteers across the South Shore and beyond who pick up donated dresses, sew angel gowns and drop off completed gowns to funeral homes, hospitals and families.
I m still overwhelmed. I m so amazed and grateful, said Marsters, noting that thousands of angel gowns can be made out of the donated gowns.
Marsters started In Memory of Danielle Angel Gowns to remember her daughter Danielle who passed away at seven days old 43 years ago. ....

Amanda helped Ann-Marie and Darren, 34, arrange Ezmai-Gray’s funeral.
Restrictions put in place by the Government due to the pandemic meant only a limited number of people were able to attend.
But Ann-Marie – who now supports 4Louis, Essex Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity and Angel Babies and Children – showed her gratitude for all of Amanda’s support by inviting her to the funeral.
She added: “I was only allowed ten people at my daughter’s funeral because of the lockdown restrictions.
“Amanda had helped me so much since first meeting her, including arranging the funeral, that I made sure she was there ahead of some members of the family. I didn’t know Amanda before, but she has become a friend. ....

When Sarah Ripoli was ready to go public with the tragedy she experienced when she was 6 years old, when her father Frank Ripoli Jr. fatally shot her mother Brenda Ripoli, she sent a message to her sorority sisters and told them what had happened first.
It was December 2018 and many responses she received were “but you are so normal.”
For more than two decades, Ripoli was shielded from the details of the murder, aside from just knowing her father killed her mother at their Medford home in Burlington County.
