The show will take place on Thursday, February 25, at 8pm. Tickets for the performance are €12.
This first performance of the album will include a collaboration with Bray visual artist 1iing Heaney. 1iing will bring elements of the digital artwork she designed for the album into the physical world, creating an entirely unique live stream experience. Awake You Lie will be released on Friday, February 26. Recorded in JRS studios in Berlin pre-Covid, with the final tweaks managed in lockdown Ireland, Awake You Lie comes almost two years to the day after the band s widely acclaimed, Choice Music Prize-nominated, debut album. A recurring image during this album writing process was light, the lack thereof, and wanting to see things more clearly, for ourselves and others, they said.

We were very happy residents in the Mermaid Arts Centre. That was obviously closed with the onset of Covid and we went online, said Philip.
Each Monday now, they meet on Zoom and have done so every week with the exception of two Mondays at Christmas time.
Bray Camera Club started its life in a premises in Ballinteer which had a darkroom. It moved from there to Signal Arts Centre, then to the Bridge on Castle Street, before Mermaid and now Zoom. They look forward to returning to in-person meetings whenever it is safe to do so.
Music Network and Wicklow County Council Arts Office invite County Wicklow residents aged 55 and over to participate in a new shared learning music project with renowned Wicklow quartet Sonamus.
Making Music with Sonamus: the Wicklow Teaching Residency presented by Music Network and Wicklow County Council Arts Office offers participants individual and group tuition on piano, guitar, cello or whistle between January and June 2021.
Tuition is entirely free of charge and instruments will be provided as needed for the duration of the project. Reading music is not essential for participation in this project, and players of all levels are encouraged to apply, even if a little rusty.
