Omitting Ayensuano from Eastern Region results was avoidable - Dr Quaicoo admits
Dr Serebour Quaicoe, Director of Electoral Services for the Electoral Commission (EC) has admitted that omitting the results of Ayensuano Constituency from the collated results of the Eastern Region was avoidable.
According to him, the Regional Collation Centre collated 32 instead of 33 but later corrected the error which was used in announcing the national figures contrary to claims the announcement was made based on the error-ridden results.
“When you come to results declaration, the Eastern Region one could have been avoided. I believe with due diligence, it could have been avoided, he revealed on Joy FM’s news analysis programme Newsfile monitored by MyNewsGh.com. ....

Dr Serebour Quaicoe, Director of Electoral Services for the Electoral Commission (EC) has observed that the three months jail slapped on the 39-year-old ballot box snatcher at the Sene West constituency in the Bono East region is lenient.
According to him, he would have expected the court to jail Christian Nukpeta who a resident of Tato Bator two years and a fine of GH¢6,000 with a life ban from taking part in elections.
“I wish he was given two years, GH¢6,000 fine and banned for life. If you do not want the votes of others to be counted why should yours be counted?” he asked. ....

The Electoral Commission is not ruling out the possibility of conducting a rerun of parliamentary polls in the Sene West Constituency of the Bono Region.
Director of Electoral Services for the Electoral Commission (EC), Dr. Serebour Quaicoe who gave the hint on Accra-based Joy Fm monitored by MyNewsGh.com, indicated that there is currently a court injunction at the instance of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary candidate.
“There is a court injunction on the election results in the area. There is a possibility of a rerun or we count the ballots that are available and declare the results depending on what happens in the court”, he hinted. ....

More contradictory reports continue to emerge, further putting the credibility of the 2020 election and the declared results in doubt, especially in the case of the Presidential result declared from the Eastern Region by the Electoral Commission (EC).
