Updated: 6:29 PM EDT Jun 9, 2021 The family of a Dedham teenager is offering conflicting reports about the condition of the 17-year-old found submerged in a pool during a weekend graduation party in the Massachusetts town.The aunt of Alonzo Polk told WCVB the teenager the teen died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday after being hospitalized for four days. However, another relative says Polk is still alive, and remains hospitalized.Polk graduated with honors from Dedham High School this month and would have turned 18 years old later this month, according to the aunt.Dedham police said the Emergency 911 Center received multiple 911 calls at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday for reports of a boy who was unresponsive in connection with a possible drowning incident in the backyard of a Netta Road home, which had an in-ground pool.By the time officers arrived at the scene, Polk had been pulled from the pool and bystanders were performing CPR on him.
