Stating that liberals might be active in the repudiation of the scheduled Fourth of July fireworks show at Mount Rushmore, South Dakota Republican Governor Kristi Noem criticized the suspension of the event. She alleges that the Left is acting as part of a plot to cancel her attempt to celebrate American freedom. Cancel culture may be working on the sidelines, reported Newsmax. 
The White House has not issued any statement if they influenced the decision not to grant the requested event. For many, the yearly fireworks display is an expression of US freedom and its cancellation leaves many worried, especially conservatives. ....

As University President Thomas LeBlanc found himself increasingly at odds with faculty while the COVID-19 pandemic progressed, he locked in on a defined messaging strategy – communicate regularly and don’t overpromise.
At each defining moment over the past year, like summer demonstrations fueled by the murder of George Floyd, an insurrection at the U.S. Capitol and extensions of remote learning, the University community’s inboxes have been filled with messages from a regular sender – “President Thomas J. LeBlanc.” As the Board of Trustees works to conduct its standard review of LeBlanc, the University president also faces growing criticism from faculty who have been calling for him to resign since last February. ....

Why do I have to ask more than once?
This question, prompted by Dr. Joe Stahlman a Tuscarora man who serves as director of the Seneca Nation Tribal Historical Preservation Office, the Seneca Iroquois National Museum and the Onöhsagwë:de Cultural Center   refers to the ongoing issue Native Americans face of having to constantly remind others they are not mascots or peoples of the past. 
Stahlman has been fighting against that idea since he was 18, a 30-year battle to be seen as a living, breathing human belonging to a culture that still exists.  ....
