玩命攀爬武嶺停車場山壁 1家5口險被罰 - 社會


微解封周末，南投合歡山武嶺停車場，連2日車潮人潮不斷，18日上午傳出有民眾5人攀爬武嶺停車場旁山壁，驚險景象叫人捏一把冷汗，違規闖入的民眾指稱，不知道山壁是禁區，經警方勸阻並開出勸導單，警方表示，擅自進入公告禁止進入之區域，將依國家公園法第13條第8項裁罰1500到3000元罰鍰。
保七總隊指出，來自台中市1家5口的民眾，2名家長帶著3名國、高中生兒女，自合歡山主峰上山賞景，下山時卻誤爬武嶺停車場旁山壁，後來發現走錯路徑，又見到員警吹哨制止，1家人相當緊張，員警擔心他們發生意外，指引順利下山。
保七總隊表示，1家人稱微解封，當天到南投海拔3275公尺的合歡山武嶺出遊，武嶺亭1次僅18人進入很難排，於是1家人先走主峰觀山景，因路況不熟才從山壁小徑欲下到停車場，不知道攀爬山壁是違法行為。

Three Control Yuan members are to investigate a forest fire at Yushan National Park that was allegedly caused by a civil servant, the government oversight body said yesterday.
The blaze, which was brought under control on Sunday, destroyed 71 hectares of forest since it began on May 16, data from the Council of Agriculture’s (COA) Forestry Bureau showed.
Control Yuan members Yeh Yi-jin (葉宜津), Tsai Chung-yi (蔡崇義) and Lai Ting-ming (賴鼎銘) said in a statement that National Communications Commission senior specialist Joseph Chiao (喬建中) who on Friday said he started the fire after accidentally tipping over a gas stove at a campground and his coh ....

On a windy April evening, Jennifer and husband Nick Cherniwchan find themselves bent over more often than upright on an evening walk up to Cabot Tower. 
[It s] a little bit disappointing because it s such a beautiful spot and we re so lucky to live here, Nick said.
[The trash] does take away from that .
The pair moved to Newfoundland and Labrador from Calgary three years ago when Nick took a job in St. John s. With scenic Signal Hill so close their home, they spend a lot of time in and around the trails.  ....
