For as long as Ben Roberts can remember, comics have been a part of his life. He remembers picking through Acme Comics as a kid, a hobby that taught him more than a lifelong love of reading. No, but it s what I m going to do. By Lyra HaleApr 28th, 2021, 5:36 pm Years later, and I still get the feels when I watch the “No Man’s Land” scene from Wonder Woman. Seriously, it’s like no time has passed and I’m in the movie theater watching Diana plead with Steve that they need to help the people in the next town over. And when he laid it out and basically said it’s not what they came here to do, she stepped up as Wonder Woman and cemented this scene in my memory forever. I can remember the music and how everything paused for a second. Because if he wasn’t going to do something about it, then Diana was. Her shield then came into focus, followed by her gauntlets, her boots, and lasso. And as the music started to get into a superhero groove, she came into view. And oh was she a vision to behold! Even now I’m getting shivers thinking about watching this scene for the first time. ....
