Support is out there for people facing issues with gambling

A WEST Cumbrian credit union has urged residents in the area to seek help if they are concerned that their relationship with gambling is spiralling out of control.
The Whitehaven, Egremont and District Credit Union issued a message on social media, signposting individuals who are experiencing problems with gambling in the right direction.
If you re worried that your gambling is getting out of control, or you know someone who might have issues with gambling, there is help and support out there for you, the message read.
Anyone who does want to seek help or advice about their gambling habits should contact the National Gambling Helpline. ....

I was given the opportunity to change the title of this topic but I have preferred not to, even though I do not think that South African whites in general or the Afrikaner people in particular are a tribe. Rather, as I have suggested in my essay published in American Renaissance in May/June 2004, which was reprinted in my book

Gambling, whether physical or online, has always been a great source of revenue to the economy of South Africa. Inconsistencies in regulation and laws have made the industry a largely illegal one.
Since 1673, gambling in South Africa has faced a lot of restrictions. In 1965, the South Africa’s Gambling Act was passed and this one banned every form of gambling excluding bets on horse racing as this was already existent as a sport activity.
In the late 1970s, casinos became operational in the bantustans (the nominally independent areas called homelands) of Venda, Transkei, Ciskei and Bophuthatswana. The only people who lived there were native South Africans and there were a lot of citizens who had no access to these gambling institutions. About 2,000 illegal casinos were in existence by 1995 just in South Africa. ....
