UMS and Motac's board sign MoU to promote visual arts

KOTA KINABALU: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been inked between Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) and the Tourism, Arts and Culture Ministry’s (Motac) National Visual Arts Development Board here.
UMS Pro-Chancellor and Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor witnessed the signing with Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri at the state administration centre here on Thursday (April 22).
The MoU is aimed at initiating collaboration to boost visual arts development via the Azman Hashim Gallery at the university campus. ....

KUALA LUMPUR: Media agencies and practitioners have been urged to help promote the artwork of Persons with Disabilities (PwD), such as those with autism, in an effort to open up greater opportunities for this group.
