Snow days may become a thing of the past in Decatur Public Schools.  The school district announced Tuesday that they plan to adopt an e-learning program that would replace its scheduled emergency days.  Under the proposed plan, on any day that would normally be considered a snow day, DPS students and staff would switch to remote learning.  The district would not have to make up the snow day at the end of the school year.  If passed, the e-learning plan would be in effect for the 2020-21, 2021-22, and 2022-23 academic years.  DPS says they will host a public hearing on the matter on Tuesday, January 12th so that students and parents can voice their opinions.  The meeting is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ....
