New Delhi: Trials for 5G technology in the country are likely to start in two-three months’ time, the department of telecommunications (DoT) has informed the parliamentary committee on IT. DoT has already received 16 applications for 5G field trials using imported as well as indigenous technology.
In its report, the parliamentary committee said, Notwithstanding submission of TSPs and the industry body, it is really disturbing to note that 5G trials have not yet been permitted.
