Clarence Leroy Hinchman, 83, a resident of Elkins passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at his home.
He was born, May 12, 1937, a son of the late Wilford Jacob and Flora Haddix Hinchman. He had never married.
He is survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Also preceding him in death were brothers, Frank, Wilfred, Calvin and Lonnie Hinchman; and sisters, Anna Gay Hinchman, Irene Radcliff and Maudie Lorraine Hinchman.
Clarence was a graduate of Elkins High School where he participated in basketball and track. He later enjoyed playing fast-pitch softball.
Clarence was employed as a custodian for many years for the Randolph County Schools prior to his retirement. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Monday, April 5, 2021, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. ....
