Legal & General Mortgage Club has added six lenders to its SmartrFit tool. The tool, which allows advisers to determine suitable mortgage providers for their clients, will now include results for Aldermore Bank, Bank of Ireland, Leeds Building Society, Pepper Money, Vernon Building Society and the Post Office. Legal & General’s SmartrFit tool is free-to-use and can be accessed whether an adviser is a member of the Mortgage Club or not, although users will need an agency number to login. Legal & General partners with HLPartnership on SmartrCriteria By Roger Baird 12 th March 2021 1:06 pm Legal & General has worked with mortgage and protection network HLPartnership to simplify access for advisers using SmartrCriteria and SmartrFit search tools. The mortgage club says brokers will “benefit from a streamlined connection directly between the two providers” without “having to sign in multiple times” or “juggle numerous windows or tabs”. Legal & General announced a similar integration with mortgage platform Smartr365 last month. It says it expects to roll out further “partnerships of this kind” as the business works more “closely with a range of other providers to bring the benefits of its tools to a broader intermediary audience”. ....
