20 new coronavirus cases and no deaths on Tuesday in Lincolnshire Not out of the woods yet There have been 20 coronavirus cases in Greater Lincolnshire and no COVID-related deaths on Tuesday. The government’s COVID-19 dashboard recorded 18 new cases in Lincolnshire, one in North Lincolnshire and one in North East Lincolnshire. No further coronavirus deaths were registered on Tuesday. These figures include deaths both in and out of hospitals, as well as residents in hospitals outside the county. NHS England also reported no new hospital deaths. National cases have increased by 2,493 to 4,467,310, while deaths have risen by 15 to 127,739. In local news today, health bosses have said there is “still work to be done” in South Holland as it shares in more than £2.6 million to help tackle higher-than-average coronavirus rates. ....

Dinesh Bhatt set off from his home in South Witham in the early hours and walked three miles, crossing the A1 before turning up at the Castle Bytham home of his victims. Bhatt, described as under pressure as a result of the effect of lockdown on his job, then broke into the property waking the occupants at around 4am. ....

Callum Reynolds attracted the attention of police as a result of the comments he made to a sex offender which led to officers turning up at his home. Reynolds was arrested and both his laptop and mobile phone were checked out by police. The subsequent investigation revealed he had been sending and receiving indecent videos of children being abused. ....

The woman was found dead at a house on Claremont Street when officers responded to a call from East Midlands Ambulance Service at around 7.20pm on Monday evening. Police and forensic examiners remained at the scene throughout Tuesday as part of investigations, but have now revealed that her death is not being treated as suspicious. Which pubs in the Grantham area are opening from today? | Updated: 12:16, 12 April 2021 The Grantham branch of CAMRA has drawn up a list of local pubs which are opening from today following the easing of lockdown restrictions by the government. Pubs are among businesses including non-essential shops, gyms, hairdressers and beauty salons which can open from today. But pubs can only serve in outdoor areas which means that many are still unable to open. The outdoor area at The Tollemache Inn which is being prepared for reopening on April 12.
