OGDENSBURG A city police investigation led to two arrests after officers found a semi-automatic shotgun with a grenade launcher attachment.
Curtis A. Redmond and Shelby LaJoy of Ogdensburg were charged with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and one count of fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
On July 14 Ogdensburg Police Department attempted to stop a vehicle and its occupants on South Water Street in the City of Ogdensburg.

New Bedford City Councilor Hugh Dunn is now facing potential criminal charges in relation to his May 1 multi-vehicle crash in downtown New Bedford.
The Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, which was conducting an independent investigation of the incident, said today that an application for a criminal complaint has been made this afternoon to the Clerk Magistrate in New Bedford District Court charging Dunn with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, leaving the scene of property damage, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
Dunn has also been issued a citation for several motor vehicle-related offenses, the D.A.’s Office said.

A special prosecutor is expected to be appointed after authorities say a New Bedford city councilor was operating under the influence during a hit-and-run crash last month.
After gathering all available evidence and interviewing witnesses, authorities issued New Bedford City Councilor Hugh Dunn a citation for several motor vehicle-related offenses in connection with the May 1 crash, the Bristol District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday.
A Massachusetts State Police detective assigned to the district attorney’s office recently concluded his investigation into the multi-vehicle crash, according to prosecutors.
