A GROUP of teenage friends conquered the Yorkshire Three Peaks at the weekend – and raised over £2,400 for charity. Thomas Beever, Mitchell Hardaker, Oliver Grundy, Feargus Mansell, Harley Debny-Succoia and Jonathan Day completed the gruelling 24-mile route in just over nine hours. The energy-draining challenge includes the summits of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. The pals – who are all in their late teens and from the Silsden and South Craven area – were coining-in cash for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, in tribute to the “amazing” support it has given to one of the group’s family members.
