14 People Shot Overnight in Chicago, Including 3 Fatalities
CHICAGO Chicago police overnight were called to two separate attacks, each of which left three people shot, one fatally, according to authorities.
Those six people, including the two who died, were among a total of 14 people shot in less than 14 hours, beginning at 6 p.m. Saturday, police said. Three of the 14 people died.
A man was killed and two women were shot not far from the Cook County Jail in Little Village late Saturday, according to police. Officers were called to the 2700 block of West 27th Street at 8:50 p.m. where they found three people had been shot, according to a police media notification.

A 70-year-old man has been reported missing from Lawndale on the West Side.
Jesse Delgado was last seen Saturday and has been reported missing from the 1500 block of South Fairfield Avenue, according to a missing person alert from Chicago police.
Delgado, who may be in need of medical attention, is 5-foot-6, 130 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair, and has a fair complexion, police said. He was last seen wearing a gray and black checkered button-down shirt, and blue jeans.

CHICAGO (CBS) At least 55 people were shot across Chicago over the weekend, 12 of them fatally, including a 15-year-old boy who was shot in the head on the front porch of a home in Lawndale, and three double homicides.
Dajon Gater, 15, was on the front porch of a home in the 3900 block of West Lexington Street around 11:50 p.m. Friday, when two people approached him, pulled out guns, and started shooting, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
He was rushed to the Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition but died a few hours later.
