Lansing s Wing Heaven Sports Haven opened this week, just in time for March Madness. It s a bar that doesn t serve alcohol. Co-owner Theresa Stokes told the Lansing State Journal that the bar has a niche market, people who are in recovery, or people who just don t want to be around drinkers. When you are on probation or anything, you can t even go to Applebee s because they serve alcohol, but you still need somewhere to go and have social engagement other than AA or NA meetings. They can come here and watch a game, shoot pool or play air hockey. It s the same environment as a bar, minus the alcohol. ....
