Around 2 a.m. July 17, multiple were shot on the corner of Southwest 3rd Avenue and Southwest Harvey Milk Street, near a pod of food carts in downtown’s “entertainment district.” Seven gunshot victims were taken to the hospital, and one Makayla Harris, 18 later died from a gunshot wound. Her death was ruled a homicide by the medical examiner. ....
