Each of these instances occurred under the watch of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. None of the deputies involved in these incidents were referred to Internal Affairs for investigation or potential discipline.
The incidents are highlighted in a confidential report reviewed by TimesOC. The report, titled “Special Report on Pressing Use of Force Issues,” was prepared by the Office of Independent Review, which oversees the county’s Sheriff’s Department, district attorney’s office, public defenders office, probation department and Social Services Agency. ....

TANK: A water filtration plant installed by the Frontier Corps (FC) South Headquarters was inaugurated here on Friday.
Deputy Commissioner Kabir Afridi inaugurated the eleventh water filtration plant at the Government High School No. 2 in Tank. Speaking on the occasion, the deputy commissioner said that with the help of Sector Headquarters FC South more filtration plants would be installed in various localities to provide clean drinking water to the local people. The people of Tank are facing acute water shortage. They praised FC South for installing drinking water filtration plants in various localities. ....

The Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) held a rank presentation ceremony for 39 Class One Fire and Rescue personnel promoted to the post of Senior Fire and Rescue personnel.
Acting Assistant Director of Operations of Fire and Rescue Abdul Hadi Zulfadli bin Haji Yahya officiated the ceremony at the Fire and Rescue Department Headquarters.
Assistant director, senior officers and officials from the FRD attended the event alongside families of the promoted personnel.
The promotion was awarded in acknowledgement of the personnel’s excellent service, dedication and high discipline.
The FRD encourages personnel to instil an attitude of healthy competition and self-progress towards forming a culture of healthy teamwork. ....
