St. Francis voters approve a $30.6 million referendum for school facility improvements Bob Dohr, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel St. Francis voters solidly endorsed a pair of school referendums in Tuesday s election, including a comprehensive $30.6 million facilities referendum. The referendum will address facilities needs at every school in the district, including renovations and additions at Willow Glen Primary and Deer Creek Intermediate school campuses, districtwide capital maintenance and building improvements, and safety, security and accessibility updates districtwide. Voters also said yes to an operational referendum that will cost $800,000 per year for the next four years (2021-22 through 2024-25) and will be used to address the district’s projected operating deficit. ....
