KUWAIT CITY, April 25: Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Khalifa Hamadeh says there are five reasons for the delay by the Al-Durra Domestic Labor Company in carrying out its objectives, reports Al-Anba daily. In response to a parliamentary question asked by MP Muhalhel Al-Mudhaf in this regard, Hamadeh indicated that the reasons include lack of opening new channels with labor-exporting countries, the lack of solving existing challenges with the labor-supplying countries such as Nepal, and also the poor performance of government agencies, represented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Public Authority for Manpower, and Ministry of Interior, in concluding contracts and agreements between countries. ....

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 25: A group of Kuwait and Filipino domestic workers offices have warned about the seriousness of current situation of Filipino domestic workers in Kuwait, suspension of recruitment of such workers is highly anticipated. During the meeting yesterday through Zoom 9 main points were discussed about the realistic situation.
The general manager of Al-Durra International Domestic Labor Company, Bassam Al-Shammari, said that the meeting included many Kuwaiti and Filipino domestic workers’ offices, during which they warned of the increasing problems faced by Filipino domestic workers in Kuwait compared to neighboring countries which is just 20%.

Bengaluru, Jan 1: Dr C N Ashwathnarayana, deputy chief minister and minister for skill development department has given good news on New Year s Day to the people of Karnataka. There is huge demand for the nurses from Karnataka in overseas countries and many hospitals have come forward to offer jobs.
To begin with, Britain has placed a demand for 1,000 nurses and it is being obliged by the government.
All the nurses, who are being sent to Britain, will be trained by KVTSDC (Karnataka Vocational Training and Skill Development Corporation Ltd). Britain government has fixed a package of Rs 20 lac per annum for these nurses. In order to recruit skilled nurses KVTSDC has entered into an agreement with Health Education England (HEE) and National Health Services (NHS) of Britain. ....
