One day after it was announced that former President Donald Trump pardoned over 140 individuals within his last 24 hours of his Presidency, questions arise who qualified for the pardon? Why Lil Wayne and Kodak Black and not other known incarcerated hip hop figures such as Bobby Shmurda, C-Murder or Big Meech.
Baton Rouge rapper, Boosie Badazz took to Twitter to share his sentiments.
It is unknown at the time of this article, what the qualifications were for the pardons - but no one is contesting the release of beloved rappers Wayne and Kodak.
Lil Wayne was arrested in Miami, Fla. on December 23, 2019 with one count of possessing a firearm and ammunition as a felon, and plead guilty on December 11, 2020. ....

White House on Wednesday said that outgoing President Donald Trump has pardoned 73 people, including his former aide Steve Bannon, just before he was due to leave the office.

However, Trump did not pardon himself, members of his family or lawyer Rudy Giuliani.
