THEY FOU 27-YEAR-OLD DEON TREY OTIS DEAD AT THE SCENE AT MONTANA AVENUE. POLICE SAY THE SUSPECT TOOK OFF IN A BLACK OR GREEN SUV. THEY HAVE NOT ANNOUNCED ANY ARREST. INTEGRITY, BRAVERY, HONOR. CINCINNATI (FOX19) - The funeral for Hamilton County Sheriffâs Deputy Donald Gilreath III was held Wednesday.
Gilreath died from complications related to COVID-19, according to the sheriffâs office on Feb. 12.
He had served the sheriffâs office with distinction since April 2005, the sheriffâs office says.
After the private family ceremony, a graveside service will take place with a ceremonial presentation from the sheriffâs office to Gilreathâs family.

CINCINNATI â A Hamilton County Sheriff s Deputy who died last week of COVID-19 symptoms will be laid to rest Wednesday.
Deputy Donald Gilreath III, who served with the sheriffâs office since April 7, 2005, passed away on Friday. He worked in the Hamilton County Jail through the pandemic, though it is unclear if he contracted the virus at the jail.
Services will be held Wednesday at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home at 10211 Plainfield Rd.

Friends, family and coworkers on Wednesday memorialized Hamilton County Deputy Donald Gilreath as âa big kid at heartâ who was beloved for his compassion and sense of humor.
Gilreath, 36, died Feb. 12 of complications related to COVID-19. He was a 15-year veteran of the Hamilton County Sheriffâs Office.
âDuring those 15 years, Donnie became a very well-loved member of our department,â Sheriff Charmaine McGuffey said at Gilreathâs funeral Wednesday afternoon. âHe was so well-loved that many people, many people have come down to the jail that were not in uniform to express their grief and their loss.â
