Show Transcript CRITICAL CONDITION TONIGHT. THE POLICE RECEIVED A 911 CALL SHORTLY BEFORE 4:00 YESTERDAY AFTERNOON ABOUT THE SHOOTING. THEY FOU 27-YEAR-OLD DEON TREY OTIS DEAD AT THE SCENE AT MONTANA AVENUE. POLICE SAY THE SUSPECT TOOK OFF IN A BLACK OR GREEN SUV. THEY HAVE NOT ANNOUNCED ANY ARREST. INTEGRITY, BRAVERY, HONOR. THOSE ARE THE WORDS USED DESCRIBE HAMILTON COUNTY DEPUTY DONA GILREATH THE THIRD AS HE WAS LAID TO REST TODAY. GILREATH DIED AFTER CONTRACTING COVID-19. CINCINNATI (FOX19) - The funeral for Hamilton County Sheriffâs Deputy Donald Gilreath III was held Wednesday.
Gilreath died from complications related to COVID-19, according to the sheriffâs office on Feb. 12.
He had served the sheriffâs office with distinction since April 2005, the sheriffâs office says.
After the private family ceremony, a graveside service will take place with a ceremonial presentation from the sheriffâs office to Gilreathâs family.
