Last season now feels like two years ago (after all, it was 2019). The Dolphins had their best season ever, with a 21-3 record while winning the Division 2 South sectional championship. This year, due to COVID-19, the volleyball season, which is usually played in the fall, with practices beginning in mid-August, was delayed and will be played in what the MIAA has designated as a Fall 2 season. ....

Wicked Local The Nauset winter sports team concluded their abbreviated regular season this week, as they prepare for their Cape and Islands League post season tournament. The Nauset girls honored their seniors on Thursday night, as they hosted Barnstable in their home finale. Seniors honored included Avery Burns, Makayla Hutchinson, Korin Mereste and Ashley Ross. Undefeated as they entered their final three games before the tournament, the girls will travel to Falmouth, who they beat by just seven points earlier in the season and Sandwich on Friday night as they prepare for the end-of-season weekend tournament. The boys were 6-4 heading into their final two games of the season, at Barnstable on Tuesday evening, and Senior Night against Sandwich on Friday night. They ll also compete in the league tournament this week in their season finale. ....
