Reviewing my files, I have observed this is an old issue supposedly laid to rest by the statutes quoted in Mr. Price’s letter. Who on staff was supposed to check this out – CAO Ed Archer? I strongly resent what appears to be an act of gouging on the part of the city. I purchased fire insurance for my house to help replace it and my belongings in case of a fire, not as an opportunity for city hall to make a cash grab for some slush fund. ....
