An Indian climate activist linked to Greta Thunberg said on Saturday she felt violated by her arrest last month on sedition charges and her treatment by the media, her first comments on a case that sparked international criticism.
Disha Ravi, a 22-year-old vegan and member of Thunberg s Fridays for Future movement, was charged in February over an online document about months-long protests by Indian farmers.

New Delhi: In ordering bail for Disha Ravi â the young environmental activist arrested for editing a solidarity toolkit supporting India’s protesting farmers â the court of the additional sessions judge has so comprehensively demolished the Delhi Police case against her that if investigators still commit the mistake of laying a charge sheet, the case is almost certain to end in acquittal.
A Delhi court on Tuesday granted bail to environmental activist Disha Ravi, asking her to furnish a bond of Rs 1 lakh. Disha Ravi was arrested by the Delhi Police in connection with the 'toolkit' case.
