New Delhi:Â In her first public statement after her 10-day arrest in February, climate activist Disha Ravi has talked about her time in custody, the unfair media portrayal she received, and other rights activists in jail who do not have access to the same resources and are still languishing. “…truth always reveals itself,” she has said, while reiterating her support to climate justice and the farmers protest.

New Delhi: 22-year-old climate activist Disha Ravi who was arrested in connection with the toolkit case, in line with the farmers protest was granted bail today by the Patiala House Court.
Disha was arrested by the Delhi Police on February 13 from her Bengaluru residence in the farmers protest toolkit case.
Additional Sessions Judge Dharmender Rana after hearing a detailed argument was of the opinion that the evidence on record by the prosecution is not sufficient to keep a 22-year-old in custody.
