MultiStages will present SPEAKOUT: Protest Plays & More, a virtual festival of multicultural multidisciplinary commissioned works, live on June 21 and recorded from June 22 to 25. Conceived and curated by Artistic Director/activist Lorca Peress, the program is a 90-minute turntable of short plays, dance works and poetry exploring the essence of protest and activism in the modern period since the killing of George Floyd, the pandemic, the surge in hate crimes on Asian-Americans and more.

RAJSHAHI, May 26, 2021 (BSS)- Science and Technology Minister Architect Yeafesh Osman today spent a busy day by inaugurating and visiting different development projects in Rajshahi city.
The Minister formally inaugurated the newly constructed building of the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS) in the compound of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital.
The building has been constructed at a cost of around TK 20 crore.
INMAS provides not only nuclear medicine service to the patients but also plays a vital role for human resource development in this field. This gives a new dimension to the endeavor to represent the institute as a “Centre of Excellence” in the field of nuclear medicine services in Bangladesh.

Premiere Stages has announced public readings of three of the 2020 Play Festival Finalists, which had been postponed in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The Festival is an annual competition for unproduced scripts that offers developmental opportunities to playwrights with strong affiliations to New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Delaware. The readings will be held virtually via Zoom and are free to the public. A live Q&A with the playwrights will follow each reading.
