Jul 20, 2021 / 08:54 PM EDT PICKERINGTON, Ohio (WCMH) – A summertime tradition returns for band members at Pickerington Central High School as students and staff come back together for band camp, which kicks off this week. Though the number of park-goers did not swell to the usual hundreds as the morning went on, and there was not the traditional parade of hats and fashion, or the heavy promenading along the main thoroughfare, patrons were still upbeat, dancing and swaying and singing along to their favourite selections. ....

Darlington who was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer was brought to tears throughout the evening as several of the island’s musical talents belted out tune after tune in her honour and in the effort to raise funds for much needed medical attention overseas. And there were many awe-inspiring performances. ....
